This course will train PhD candidates selected under the ISLANDS project, on gender and minority issues in scientific research. Participants will identify key factors that limit the involvement of underrepresented groups in science, learn strategies to overcome these challenges, and gain skills to organize inclusive public engagement events. The course emphasizes that adopting a gender-inclusive and minority-inclusive approach enhances the quality of scientific research and improves the market penetration of scientific products.
